Welcome to The Haunted Inn!

About Us

In 2017 Jane and John Doe retired and bought an old victorian house in Ulster County, New York; with the plan to refirbish it and turn it into a bed and breakfast. After purchasing it they discovered something horrifying: it was haunted! However, they still continued with their plan. Now it's a hopping place full of spirits and mortals alike!

Jane Doe

You can usually find Jane Doe in the kitchen, dining, and living rooms, talking to everyone she can! She loves to cook and will talk your ear off if you let her. She cooks the breakfast for all of the guests fresh every morning, and checks guests in the rest of the day. In her free time she's usually kniting in the lounge.

About the Spirits

In total the Haunted Inn is home to six lovely spirits! They all have limited supernatural powers that can influence the world around us.

1. Thor
Thor is the ghost of a viking who was struck by lightning. As such he can make the power flicker, and even go out! He seems emotionless and tough at first but get to know him and he's a real softie.
2. Elizabeth
Elizabeth is the ghost of a victorian noble. She looks down on everyone, but earn her respect and she's a real lively conversationalist! She's the only one who can be seen by the living, although it's just for an hour at a time.
3. Pete
Pete was a Boy Scout councilor who was accidentally shot during an archery tournament. He knows a lot of survival skills and is the only one who can leave the property, so he's a great help in a pinch!
4. Rita
Rita was a jazz singer during the 1920's. You can often hear her wonderful voice singing in the lounge. She was staying the weekend in this house and suddenly died. All signs point to foul play...
5. Treavor
Treavor was a frat boy who acidently overdoesed during a weekend with the boys. He's a delight to be around. He can even move objects in our world!
6. Alexander
Alexander was a civil war general who fought a battle on these very grounds! He loves to tell old war stories. Just be careful because he died of dysentary so anyone who walks through him smell nouxious.
