A little bit about me,

James Kieran McKenny

What was I doing up until now?

You have seen my name, and if that and the fact that I am a ginger did not give it away. I have a lot of Irish heritage. Besides that, I was born not too far from here, up in little old Overland Park, Kansas. I lived there until I was two, after which I moved to Montgomery, Alabama. That is where all of my memories come from. I had lived there until I was 18, when I then moved back to Kansas to discover more about who I wanted to be. I lived there until this past March, when I moved to Springfield to attend OTC.

Me and my two younger sisters

My family. "All grown up now."

I am the oldest of 3. My two younger sisters are either on their way to college or are in it now. Both of them decided to stay closer to home as they were both born after our move to Alabama. I am incredibly proud of them, and while I am not the brightest of the three of us, I try to make up for it in heart. Other than them, my parents have helped make me who I am today. The rest of my family I cherish, always knowing they're in my corner.

Me meeting an old childhood hero

More about that Ginger-bred Man.

Growing up, I was always a nerd, incredibly into comics, video games, and everything in between. While my size has changed since then, that nerd never grew out of me. I have always remained a huge fan of Batman and Superman, the World's Finest, Doctor Who, and even going back to KITT from Knight Rider. However, age has treated my nerdy core right in its own way. I have been able to expand my palette of media to geek out about. May that be through music, comics, or cars. When I was younger, I was a very introverted kid. I did not feel comfortable expanding my inner circle beyond the one or two friends I had. However as time has gone on, and I have gotten older, I have been able to grow more extroverted. I still have a 'social battery' of sorts, but I am able to socialize in ways my younger self would never imagine. At the end of the day, one goal in life I have is that when I am at the end of my story, I want to be able to look back at what I have done in life, and know I had as much fun as I possibly could.

Thank you so much for your time!
